I recently bought a stack of plain, unassuming notecards after reading an article on commonplacing, inspired that my own random thoughts, and quotes I came across could eventually be linked together to create thought-provoking and inspiring articles. My problem was the fact that when I would have an idea, or come across a piece of wisdom from an unlikely source, I’d have to rummage through my bag only to find a bent, or crumpled piece of a notecard that I could use. It frustrated me so much that I purposefully stopped carrying them around.
I realize now that I’m going to have to invest in a travel-sized notecard holder because Ryan your article has convinced me that notecards are indeed extremely purposeful and I’d be a fool to let a few crumpled notecards ruin their potential.
Thank you for the inspiration!
